The past few days have been many firsts for myself as well as my cousin Adam. On Friday we picked up Adam from his sister Amber's house and ventured to the World of Coca-Cola after first eating a delicious lunch at Johnny Rocket's. It was all of our first time at Coca-Cola and Adam's first at Johnny Rocket's.
Saturday was a calm day and we were able to watch a movie, relax, and Brian and Adam played video games. (You know... doing what boys do best!) That night we were able to take in Richmond Hill's Independence Day fireworks! It was a lot of fun!
Today was a big day! We learned last night that Adam has never seen the ocean, been to a REAL beach, or been on a island. So, off to Tybee Island we ventured today! We had so much fun boogie boarding and enjoying the nice water of the Atlantic. We then went to The Crab Shack to check out the Alligators and then home to shower and watch some TV. This evening was one more first for Adam, because we had Sushi for dinner! Adam didn't finish all six pieces, but was able to enjoy 4 pieces of a California Roll! YUMMERS!!
So much fun! Tomorrow we are headed to base (a doctor's appointment for me) and then touring the area for Adam. We will make him an Army man yet!
